Let Your Kids Enjoy A Friday Night With Us...
Friday is Parent's Night! This is a perfect time for Mom and Dad to enjoy an evening together while your kids are safe and having a BLAST with us.  Make sure to pack towel and bathing suit because we plan to take full advantage of the entire facility. Mom and Dad take some time for yourselves . . . your kids really want you to! Space is limited and Parent's Night Out fills quickly. Please register your child in advance. TOT'sER-CISE-exercising little one's minds and bodies.

Wednesday, September 14th and September 22nd!
Ages: 2 – 5 years
Time: 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
Cost: FREE

"TOTs-ER-CISE" - exercising little one's minds and bodies
We know healthy kids are happy kids and we hope to promote both with our TOTs-ER-CISE class. Modeled after our Kids-N-Motion class for the older kids, the TOTs-ER-CISE class will have age appropriate exercises supervised by Childcare staff for children who are of age to visit the Tots Corner childcare room. Children experience everything from Hula-hoops, jump ropes to practicing their balance on a floor high balance beam. They will surely have a healthy and enjoyable time. Make sure to have them registered and then meet in the gymnasium for your kids special exercise class. Registration: 2 Days prior to the scheduled event

KIDs QUEST 
 Kids Quest is perfect for those who have aged out of childcare but not quite ready to take on the rigors of the Fitness Room. Kids Quest is a FREEevent but kids must be pre-registered. Each KidsQuest event involves fun, active movement, supervision and challenge. We look to engage kids with activities appropriate for their age group that involve getting up and about. SUMMER
CAMP– just a peek at what's in store!  $90.00 Per week*
It truly is the Coolest, Hottest Place in Union County! Well organized, well supervised w/ both male and female counselors. Our Day Camp W/ A Splash promises to intrigue and fatigue. Campers are housed at Walter Bickett Education Center.  Campers will be dropped off and picked up at Walter Bickett and are bussed to MAFC for swimming Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Registration is a first pay, first serve basis based on active, current MAFC membership.

Sample Schedule
7am - 8am  Drop-off
8:00am - 9:15am  Morning Assembly/Snack (includes free time, games, cards and coloring)
9:15am - 11:30am  Groups rotate through outside organized games/inside crafts/drama/music
11:30am - 12:30pm  Lunch
12:30pm - 2:30pm  Mon/Wed/Fri = Swim at MAFC's waterpark and Tues/Thurs = Field trips
2:30pm - 4:30pm 
Organized activities - groups rotate through outside organized games/inside crafts/drama/music which they did not attend in the morning time slot (9:15am - 11:30am)
4:30pm  Snack (with Snow Ice visiting on Mondays and Wednesdays)
5pm - 6pm  Pick-up (free time, board games, cards, coloring)

Summer Kid's Day OUT!


This mini-day camp is a  program designed for kids to have a day to themselves without their parents. Parents will love this program, too.  The kids will enjoy a day full of activities including swimming at the waterpark.   

No school work  here...just fun and games!

Parent/Child Yoga

Experience yoga with your child for the first time or share your Love of Yoga with Your Kids.                Hurry and sign them up for the Parent/Child Program!

It is never too early to introduce your children to the joys and rewards of yoga. These classes offer age-appropriate yoga exercises for kids ages 8-13. Mom, Dad what better way to get your children exercising then to set the example. Each Friday in August, MAFC is offering Parent/Child Yoga classes designed specifically for children and their parents. Led by our very own certified aerobics instructors, these classes are for the novice or advanced. The focus is on introducing Yoga and its many benefits to your entire family. So Mom and Dad make sure to sign you and your kids up for each Friday. Because of the popularity, you must be pre-registered for each class. Sign ups are at the Front Desk, sorry no drop-ins allowed and these classes are for current and active members only.

Traditional Okinawan Karate
      For Kids and Adults

Isshin-Ryu Karate is a traditional Okinawan form of Karate that became very popular with Marines stationed in Okinawa during and after WWII. It emphasizes self-discipline, basic stances, kicks, hand techniques and self defense techniques. Our limited class sizes provided more indiviualized instruction and all classes are taught by black belts with a rank of 3rd degree or higher. Learn how to move, kick, punch and block properly focusing on respect as the keystone on which all true martial arts is built. A karate uniform is not necessary. Students should wear comfortable, loose clothing (sweats). Classes will accommodate beginning students as well as the advanced. Classes are for students 8 and older.

The Monroe Aquatics and Fitness Center makes a great place to have a birthday party. Birthday parties are reserved for MAFC members or an MAFC member may reserve a party for a non-member. If a member reserves aparty for someone else, the MAFC member is responsible for completing the necessary paperwork, being present as an MAFC representative during the party.
